One of Miskolc\u2019s most distinctive buildings is the 72-metre-high Avasi Lookout Tower<\/strong>, built in 1963<\/strong> on the hillside rising beside the city centre. Designed by Mikl\u00f3s Hofer<\/strong> and Gy\u00f6rgy V\u00f6r\u00f6s<\/strong>, the concrete tower has become one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. Earlier wooden lookouts once stood on this same site and in the surrounding area.<\/p>

From the observation deck<\/strong>, you can enjoy a panoramic view<\/strong> of Miskolc and the surrounding B\u00fckk Mountains<\/strong>\u2014a perspective that\u2019s truly one of a kind.<\/p>

\u2728 Entry is free<\/strong>, and there\u2019s a caf\u00e9<\/strong> on the upper level where you can relax and take in the view.<\/p>
