About Us

There is a place on the outskirts of Miskolc where the silence of the mountains and the gentle murmur of a small stream come together to give us what we had been searching for – and finally found – the feeling of truly arriving.

We created Riverside Apartment so that others could experience this kind of retreat. A place with no rush, just slow mornings, peaceful days, and inviting nights. Where the forest surrounds you, and you can find yourself again by the banks of the stream.

We have travelled a lot. We have lived through –45° frost and scorching desert heat. We have discovered far-flung cultures, new customs, new flavors, and new people – and everywhere we went, we kept wondering: what makes a place truly memorable?

Our travels have taught us that what makes a place special is not its size or the number of stars – but the feeling you wake up with when you are there.

During my years in the hospitality industry as a tourism economist, and later as an interior designer, I became increasingly focused on the three pillars of the guest experience: Aesthetics, Functionality, and Care.

At Riverside, every detail has been designed to be modern yet timeless, clean yet warm.
A place where it feels good to arrive – and even better to stay.

We believe that true relaxation is not found far away – but deep within yourself.

We just created the space for it.
